Cost
**Adjustment of ART Service Charges**
The Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Unit is committed to deliver high standard ART services to the public. With the introduction and enhancement of some services, the charges of our public patient IVF laboratory services would be adjusted effective from 12 February 2024. Thank you!
Our Unit provides modern and effective ART treatment to appropriate couples. Given the finite resources and ever increasing costs and demands for these treatments, fees are set to ensure the continuous delivery of high standard ART services.
Although public ART cycles are still heavily subsidized by the Hospital Authority, partial cost recovery is required to cope with the increase in cost of drugs and consumables and maintenance of the University ART laboratory. Meanwhile, private patients have to settle the full payment.
