Clinical Psychology Service
Our team is pleased to introduce a dedicated clinical psychology service designed to support women and couples experiencing fertility-related challenges. We understand that the journey to parenthood can be filled with emotional highs and lows, and that issues such as infertility or pregnancy loss can bring feelings of grief, anxiety, and distress that often go unspoken. Our service offers a safe space where clients can explore these emotions, receive emotional support, and develop effective coping strategies.
In addition to fertility- and loss-related support, we also provide specialized counselling for individuals and couples considering or undergoing gamete donation. Counselling in this area focuses on exploring the psychological, ethical, and relational aspects of third-party reproduction—such as disclosure, identity, and family dynamics—helping clients make informed decisions that align with their values and circumstances.
At the heart of our approach is the belief that psychological well-being is an integral part of reproductive health. By integrating psychological care within our fertility services, we aim to ensure every client receives holistic and individualized support throughout their fertility journey—from treatment planning to pregnancy, and beyond.
Please note that access to our clinical psychology service requires a referral from an obstetrician-gynecologist specialist at the Prince of Wales Hospital. If you are interested in our services, we encourage you to speak with your doctor or contact our medical staff for further information.
